so as some of you may know, my mom and i (and my fluffy little dog) are FINALLY moving out of this wretched, nightmare-ridden house and into a little apartment on our own. this has been really, really, really hard to accomplish, for so many reasons, but suffice it to say that it’s truly wonderful news that it’s finally about to happen. yaaaay!

however, of late we’ve had a lot of bad luck, most of which has come in the form of our godawful car falling apart on us several times over the past month and subsequently using up all of the money we’d put together to fund the move (first month’s rent, new furniture, kitchen supplies, etc), and now we’re pretty much broke.

here’s where you come in:

we’re selling some of our bigger items of furniture/etc partly due to space constraints in the new place, partly because we are kind of in desperate need of some starting capital until we get settled in. unfortunately because they’re so big it would be impossible for us to ship them, so we’re restricting it to local pickup only (we’re in the Rockville, MD area), but fear not! even if you don’t live around here/aren’t interested in buying any of this stuff, you can always reblog and tell your friends! maybe one of them might be interested or know someone who is! yaaaay helping!
